Yugadiviya ("we", "us") collects and processes personal data to operate a matrimonial matching service for users in Sri Lanka, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022 ("PDPA").
We collect the data you provide when creating a profile (name, contact details, photos, and partner preferences), as well as usage data such as profile views and messages, which are necessary to operate the matching and communication features of the service.
Sensitive fields such as your email, phone number, address, and messages are encrypted at rest. Access to your data is restricted by role-based permissions, and all access to administrative functions is logged in an audit trail.
You may request a copy of your data, withdraw consent, or request deletion of your account at any time from your Privacy Settings. Required consents (Terms of Service and Privacy Policy) are necessary to use the service; withdrawing them will suspend your account.
We take reasonable, documented security and governance measures to protect your data and to respond promptly if an incident occurs. No online service can guarantee it will never be breached, and our liability under the PDPA is determined by whether we acted with appropriate care — not by the mere occurrence of an incident.
